The MSVS is a transport and logistics vehicle in Squad, operated by the Canadian Army, introduced in the B20 Update.
General information[ | ]
In 2015 the Canadian Department of National Defence selected the MSVS truck to replace their MLVW trucks, which had been in service since the 1980s. The first MSVS trucks were delivered in 2018, and they can be found in service with both regular and reserve units, utilised by the Infantry, Signals, Service, Intelligence, and Combat Engineering Battalions.
The MSVS truck is offered in various wheel and engine configurations such as 4x2, 4x4, 6x4, and 6x6, though only the 6x6 variant is present in Squad.
The MSVS is 31.5 ft (9.6 m) long, 7.9 ft (2.4 m) wide, and 10.33 ft (3.15 m) high. The MSVS uses an engine which, based on its configuration, can develop anywhere from 270 hp to 330 hp. Based on the configuration of the chassis, the MSVS truck series can have an operational range of up to 500 mi (800 km). A wide number of variants exist for the different requirements of the Army.

Both MSVS variants have the highest passenger capacities out of all trucks in their respective classes due to the longer flatbed present on the truck.
Transport[ | ]
The Transport variant is best for carrying large numbers of players to different places around the map.
Logistics[ | ]
The Logistics variant gives up some passenger carrying capacity in order to carry more supplies for FOBs. For more information, see the "Loading and Unloading Supplies" section of Logistic System.
Gameplay[ | ]
- The MSVS has no armament or armor. This means that the vehicle can be disabled by small arms fire while larger caliber weapons such as the M2 .50 and NSV(T) heavy machine guns can destroy it.
- While on the MSVS, passengers on the flatbed are directly exposed to enemy fire. Avoid rushing forward objectives with the logistics variant of this vehicle and retreat if engaged by an armored vehicle.
