The L132A1 and L83A1 are British Army Smoke Grenade in Squad.

General Information

The L132A1 is a British Army smoke grenade. The Compact Smoke Screening Grenade is used to screen the movement of troops on the battlefield and deny the enemy the opportunity to target friendly personnel.

The Compact Smoke Screening Grenade works in the usual manner for a hand-thrown grenade. It is significantly smaller and lighter than older models of grenades, allowing it to be stored in a standard grenade pouch and minimize the logistical footprint. The grenade provides a longer and more dense screen than previous models.
