We are looking for a compact, useful and attractive layout and design to show the map layer image and associated data on the Squad Wiki.

For reference of the designs created by the Squad Wiki Editorial, refer to Sweez playground. Please do not edit our design page, but feel free to copy&paste for your inital design starting point.
Our main discussion is happening on the Squad Discord #wiki.

General ideas and suggestions[ | ]
A couple of ideas have been mentioned by various community members and are recorded here:
- Some vehicle do not spawn at the start of the match but later (e.g. tanks on Narva RAAS v2 spawn after 29min) - it would be useful to know this, too (thanks, [FWF] w00kie)
- Some layers of Tallil have sandstorms (e.g. Tallil RAAS v2) - this should be mentioned somewhere (thanks, [FWF] w00kie)
- There are neutral vehicles on some maps that can be entered by either side (e.g. Al Basrah PAAS) - the vehicle asset tables should account of this (aka we need three columns, not just two)

Design principles:
- Important Info at one sight
- Not to much wasted space verticaly
- Vehicle respawn "Yes/No" is not needed
Advantages:
- Very compact

Design 2: Another horizontal layout like "C-1"[ | ]

Design objectives:
- Take advantage of screen space on widescreen monitors by spreading content horizontally
- Center content horizontally and add some padding to make it easier to read
- Vehicle respawn "Yes/No" is not used
- Allow for conditional formatting to switch to vertical layout for mobile screens (still figuring out how to do this, but it is theoretically possible)
Design flaws:
- Currently doesn't look good on mobile, waiting to learn conditional formatting
